The faculty, administrators, and students at Robert Lewis Middle School, really know how to make you feel welcome. My first day was met with apprehension, instead they made me feel like this is where I belong. I was place on the Nissan Team. The student body at Robert Lewis Middle School are divided up in teams, with all teams named after the model of a car. They used that concept as a mean of competing with each other, because the student body is so large. The students seem to enjoy the spirit of competing, whether it is a pep rally or an academic bowl.
I was placed in an Eight grade Science class, and I really learned a lot. I told the students I was much like them, and needed their help to attain my goal. They were eager to help me, and as it turned out being a student worked in my favor. I only had one discipline problem during my tenure at Robert Lewis Middle School. The students still call me from time to time. They are always inviting me to whatever function they are having.. I had a great time at Robert Lewis Middle School.

Morgantown Elementary School "The Best Around"
Student teaching at Morgantown School was different, than the middle school, because of the age difference. My experience at Morgantown was good, but I just don't want to teach kids that young. I believe I can relate to all children, but the little ones aare not for me.
The faculty was nice, the principals seemed to want me there, and the students were great. They really can show you affection, and they tell everything they know. At Morgantown I found very little teaching toward independence and critical thinking.
Student teaching on various grade levels are important. My experience taught me that I am a big people person.
