Impressions of Robert Lewis Middle School:
The school itself as a physical plant is clean, it has the appearance of a school ready to provide a quality education. Its faculty and staff seem to be in good spirits, ready to teach, and eager to see the rewards of their hard work. They have extra curricular activities on hand, to give its students a well rounded educational and social enviroment.

The Natchez Adams School District through the eyes of yours truly "Janice Davis", a student teacher. As many of you know I have been through this district as a student and a parent. On September 3, 2002 I put on a new pair of shoes, and began a new journey. The school district is under new leadership, and have prepared a variety of new and innovative ideas, geared to teaching the students, and its faculty. I hope my experience in the Natchez Adams School district can be a rewarding experience, and prepare me to be an effective teacher. I think its going to be a great seven weeks.
Robert Lewis Middle School is great, I felt like I belong there the minute I walk through the door. I like the evironment, location, and the students.
Morgantown Elementary needs some color, life, and it reminds me of a nursery. The students on the second grade hall are treated like babies. You have to do everything for them.. I have not seen any teaching toward growth and independence. Teachers have the role of babysitter. I definite do not want to teach the small children. I guess I believe we ought to be teaching them the importance of education and what it takes to survive at an early age.

Last but not least the "students": The students at Robert Lewis Middle school are from different cultures and environment. The schools student body provides for a multiculture classroom. The schools student body consists of seventh and eight graders. They are a busy bunch of kids and will keep you on your toes for the next eight month. I have not seen the disruptive behaviors, I was expecting. On a whole I think they are a great bunch of kids.
